Roles in Bizgaze Application and their importance

Bizgaze Automation completely dependent on the structure of the workflow and its optimization in which the flow of the data/decision making happen between roles configured. All the permissions for Viewing/Creating/Editing or decision making are dependent on how we configure the ROLES. Role definitions and their responsibilities are very critical for executing the transactions in any business.

Default Role:

Administrator role is default in Bizgaze and cannot be altered

Creating/editing/deleting a Role:

Go to My apps

Select the icon of your concern

Select the ICON You will see all the stages available in the workflow.

More is a drop down box with the Set as Defaults and Permissions 

in the drop-down menu

Click on the permissions and you will have an additional window available on the right-hand side as below with ROLES and STAGES.

When you have selected the roles, the following are the roles populated below, in which Administrator role is the default role that cannot be modified/deleted or accessed.

In order to create a New Role, Click on the ADD Role Button in the upper right-hand corner.

After clicking the Add Role Button, a new form will be populated with the following contents as shown below.

1.Role Name
2.Description of Role(JOB Responsibilities)
3.Is Public (Yes/No)
4.Auto Assignment(Yes/No)

Fill all the details and click on Save
Permissions for each role can be given by the following process

1.Select the role which is created or from the list of Roles available
2.The permissions are set for the following attributes

CreateCan the role is authorised to create the function in the Application.For Ex. In the Sales Order Application,Only Sales Representative can create an Order
ViewCan the role is authorized to view the documents None -No, Owner -Role can see the documents created by himself, Manager- Can view the documents created by his/her subordinates who will be reporting to him/Her, Admin -Can view all the documents created by all the employees of the organisation
UpdateNone -No, Owner -Role can update the documents created by himself, Manager- Can update the documents created by his/her subordinates who will be reporting to him/Her, Admin- Can update all the documents created by all the employees of the organisation
DeleteNone -No, Owner -Role can delete the documents created by himself, Manager -Can delete the documents created by his/her subordinates who will be reporting to him/Her, Admin -Can delete all the documents created by all the employees of the organisation)
Import  None -No, Owner -Role can import the documents created by himself, Manager- Can import the documents created by his/her subordinates who will be reporting to him/Her, Admin- Can import all the documents created by all the employees of the organisation)
Export  None -No, Owner -Role can Export the documents created by himself, Manager- Can Export the documents created by his/her subordinates who will be reporting to him/Her, Admin- Can Export all the documents created by all the employees of the organisation
ManageNone -No, Owner -Role can manage the documents created by himself, Manager- Can manage the documents created by his/her subordinates who will be reporting to him/Her, Admin- Can manage all the documents created by all the employees of the organisation
AdministrateNone- No,Allow-can administrate


Based on the role, we can configure the permissions for each role on the discussed attributes as represented in the figure.
